Can anyone help me with my F2

If you look in general stunt discussion in "my new paint" or whatever you can read the whole story. The short story is my stunt bike i just bought less than 12 hours ago is sitting in a parking lot without a footpeg (it was held together with clay, and he told me I could safely ride this thing on the higway). It died when I stopped because of the footpeg, and as I pushed the starter in it didn't spring back, the button doesn't work at all anymore, either the button is shot or the entire starter is..

I don't know what the hell to do.. The bike is parked in the lucent technologies lot off of C-470 and lucent. It's about a 1/2 mile from my house and I don't have a truck to get it to my house. I might have to rent a home depot truck and throw it in the bed.. How do you guys suggest I go about this, should I ask for my money back? The truth is the thing dies in wheelies it won't even come up past where I clutch it.

Re: Can anyone help me with my F2

Actually I'll probalby try to push start it tomorrow. From there I don't know what. It won't wheelie, and it's not a safe street bike, so if I don't get my money back it's just gonna sit in my backyard and I'll be out 1k. Oh well guess I shouldn't have bought it in the first place.

Re: Can anyone help me with my F2

let me guess Faux furred F2 from C-Springs? Hes been trying to get rid of that **** for a long time now. Go through all the electrical and replace any wires that look bad or have a black crust on them, then do a complete tune up. The coils are more than likely what is wrong which is not that big of a deal but the bike usually sputters after 5k rpms. holler if none of that works and ill try to help you out the best I can.

Dude, I'm 17, I have NO experience with mechianics. I could have died if I was in a wheelie (IF IT WHEELIED) and the peg fell off.

Re: Can anyone help me with my F2

I'll try to get someone to help me fix it, it's not his fault I couldn't tell the footpeg was gonna come off because someone put it together with clay.

Re: Can anyone help me with my F2

I'm just kinda stressed out cause I didn't even have the money to pay for this bike, I've got the money coming but I'm working 7 dollars an hour to get it. I will probably spend as much as the bike cost paying someone else to fix it for me since I don't know how to.. Kelly is really nice don't get me wrong, I just don't know what the **** is up with this bike.

Re: Can anyone help me with my F2

Can you help me trailer it man it's at lucent technologies I don't know anyone with a truck. It'd be a great help. Like I said I know this is a stunt bike so it won't be perfect but I'd like it to wheelie and be safe to ride on. I'm not ready to give up on it yet.

I picked up the peg, and so basically if we can get that on so it's safe, and get the bike so it'll actually wheelie without the wheelie dropping that'd be great.

Re: Can anyone help me with my F2

Ok, I got the footpeg back on the bike, I think it was like missing a cotter pin or something so I put a spare one on it. Now, I pushed the wires back into the starter button (theres some wires hanging off it) and it turns, but barely and now it won't at all so I think I have a dead battery. I need to replace the battery.

I have one off my Cb200 which might work, or I can take the one thats in it and trickle charge it at home for a couple hours then try to start it again. The problem is that I guess he bolted the seat down so I have no idea how to get to the battery. If I could get this **** push started I can ride it to my house so I can take the time to fix it without worrying about it being towed.

My dad tried to help me push start it but it's no go. Is there any kind of way to hook the bike up to a car to pull it and get it started or what.

Re: Can anyone help me with my F2

We took some rope and tied it to the upper and towed the bike back to my house. I still don't know how the hell to get the seat off so I can replace the battery...

Re: Can anyone help me with my F2

If I remember the F2 correctly the seat bolts are behind the tail plastic. There are a couple screws to remove and some pop out fittings, then the whole plastic comes off to the rear. Sorry I cant be more specific but it has been years since I worked on one
