Why is it whenever I wake up with morning wood, im always late for work. But when I wake up early, and actually have time to jerk off, I have no morning wood?

Why is it morning wood' can be a bitch? When ur tryin to rub one out, you run to the t.v. to pop a **** in, get back into bed, all settled and BAM! its gone.... But on the other hand, you gotta wake up in a rush one day and walk thru the house with other people, and the friggen thing wont go down?!
