Acouple beers later, me and my buddy decide to go ride quads. Hes doing a big *** burnout on a polaris and then the overheat light comes on. We check it and of course, it looks like it has none. I precede to pop open the hood. Undo the radiator cap. Oh ****!, I get 200 degree steam in my face and i got coolant spewing about 5 feet up in the air. SO im here in horror of my mistake and I feel my skin start burning. Somehow, there was a creek nearby. I dont think I have ever ran that fast in my life. So, Im running towards the creek in cooalnt in my eyes and a burning face, arms and chest. I just go take a swan dive into the creek. Good, everything has stopped burning except for one thing. My eyes. I manage to stumble back to the quad. I precede to try and drive with my eyes closed. Acouple trees later I decide its not a good idea. I open my eyes and only one is burning bad. I ride home about 2 miles with one eye. I come home and my eye is all swollen. I rinse it out for about 5 minutes before I realize its not helping anymore. So Here i sit with a swollen eye and a quad without coolant.
