The fall is comming and I need a 4 door sedan or a truck. Still debating between a truck or sedan. I think the truck will be too expensive right now for the size I want. The truck will need some serious towing ability to tow 1 or 2 Jeeps around the North East. The sedan will be my daily driver, must be reliable, good in the snow for ski trips, and have some class for the ladies.

I have $3-4k to put down and looking at a $200 a month max on car payments. What are some recomendations?

Carnes get working on finding me a car for this Ski season. The Jeep is not going to last much longer on the road. I enjoy beating on it in the woods and rocks!!!

On a serious note - Take a crap on a LIncoln LS - thats all they are good for. Get something german. Benz / Bmw. concider a lexus. all great products.

Get a dually, and tow my jeep and your jeep down to paragon. I want to go back.

 

how about a subaru wrx? great in the snow because they're all wheel drive, and they're turbocharged cars so they've got some kick. easy to modify if you're into it.

 

can't tow with a wrx, and if you want to make serious power, they suck.

 

I knew my subscription to 4Wheel & Offroad magazine would come in handy someday..... starting to get my "Weatlh of useless knowlegde" back!

What suspension are you running? leaves or a 4 link / Z link?

 

well, it'd be his 4-door daily driver. the trannys in those are built like glass so you gotta be careful.

 

Still SUA leafs. Considering SOA leaf front with 4 link rear but I do not like the body roll of a 4 link. You can not beat leafs when it comes ot pounding on the Jeep though.

 

You going to the Fall crawl this weekend? I will be up there kicking *** and taking names. Why you travel so far to paragon when 1 hour away there are some pretty sick trails.

 

You can find a nice F150 or F250 in that price range. If you go diesel, you'd actually get good gas mileage. And diesels last a lot longer too. I want one.

I would go with a truck or suv. But thats just my i bought a car brand new drove it for about 9 months and got rid of it. I will never again drive a car. Go on line to kellys blue book and u can pick a few diffrent things used or new and compair them for towing abitily and everything else. Just a thought, might help u decide.
