Wow, kinda makes me wretch. That's somebody I've actually ridden with. All the discovery/television bullsh.it aside, he was kind of an ***. But real. Funny how something you've been doing regularly for decades can go wrong and kill you. He made the bikes, but bikes made him, and the bikes took him away. Much like a psychotic lover: Ride her hard because you never know when she's going to kill you.

Re: Indian Larry
Real name was Larry Desmedt (in case anyone does a search) and he was 55. He was doing a show in front of 8,000. He was wearing a protective suit but no helmet. It is believed the sun was in his eyes and caused him to wobble the bike out of control, falling off. RIP Indian Larry. True OG

Re: Indian Larry
So im up the street at the local bar...Walk in and my foreman was there"harley guy"...I asked him if he heard anything about it cause when i told him the day before he heard nothing of it....He said yea brian, the bartender was there with him when he died...He was the first to rush over and see what happened...I guess the bartender is perowitz(sp) salesmen..He travels to all the shows to sell his bikes..He just picked up a 53 foot tralier and rig and got the contract to haul all the biker build-off bike's and equipment... He drove larry's family to the hospital where he was on life support for a day and half. Anyways was kinda wierd to be sittin there drinkin with the guy that was there for his final moments..R.I.P larry
