need help with my bike the basterd just cut out on me yestarday. i dont know but i think its a relay for my fuel pump. does that sound right?????????

 

derick whats up i would check the FLUX CAPASITATOR first!!!!

 

take it easy and breathe. motors are really basic once you start troubleshooting in a somewhat organized fashion i assume you are getting spark and have alright compression which leaves us with the only other thing the bike needs which is gas. most cars have a relay switch in the trunk somewhere i am assuming your bike should have one somewhere you just need to find it and reset it. (look in the service manual that you should have already bought) if the switch is fine then make sure you are getting power to the pump with a testing light and if you are gettting power and the relay switch is all set then it is probably time to replace it.

 

ok you know the 03 when you turn the key on you hear the pump kick on, well all i hear is a quick click from a relay and no pump??

 

Yo derek... EDDY had same prob, he reset his computer and it went away the next day. but if you think its f. pump... buy a test light. well worth it!

on my gixxer thers a fuse under the relay sometimes it dodnt start i check that its blown put a new one in and off like a prom dress i go!!!!
