My little buddy Shak 13 years old (AKA little stunter )
Had a little accident on Monday and broke his upper leg while riding his BMX bike (didn't even shed a tear) Went in for surgery late Tuesday night (new hardware installed plates and screws) he's doing ok
He'll be recovering at Children Hospital in Boston till Friday.
His sad not for the broken leg but for the fact he won't be able to stunt on his EX 90 quad for the rest of the summer. He just started getting into stunting with the help and guidance from Korno, ShitBox, DEE from infamous 508, Dominic, Mark, and Cachito just to name a few. Second time on the quad he was scrapping the 12:00 bar and doing seat spreaders.

Aww.. that sucks... i know the feelin.. i broke my arm when i was 13 and couldnt ride bmx for a while.. and i refused to take the pain med...

THat sucks. I remember the docotr telling me that is the most painful and worst bone to break.

 

Broke both of my legs (femurs) when I was 12 racing my quad. It was before the nerf bar rule. I didn't have them, took a double jump. When I landed my feet slipped off, rear wheels landed on em, rode straight up my own legs. In a wheelchair for 11 months, another 5 months of rehab. **** sucked but I hopped back on as soon as I could. Tell him to get well
