Me, Jim , Skinnie Jim & Rob hit the highway last night. I wanted to see how far I could go old school style - no brake - just throttle control.

I get on the highway in 3rd gear, bounce it up at about 6k. Ride it from the harrison BLVD exit to the stoughton exit on 24, and rob slowed down infront of me so i set it down. when i put it down, i looked backwards to see if Jim was still behind me. I couldn't see 3 lanes across 24 there was so much smoke. Looked like a scene out of spy hunter. So much oil was just pooring out of the pipe. all over the wheels, rotor, 12 bar, plastics. Blew the end cap off the exhaust to let it all out.l Guess running a rull quart over + high RPM w/ the wheel in the air isn't so good for the motor! Clunk clunk clunk smoke.

well. I had every intention. THen I started drinking. 1 beer turned into 12 and then i went home. very unlike me.

i really did. I stood around the bike saying "yup" alot drinking beer. It was fun.

 

sounds like the last 7 or 8 years, standing around a G-body with a beer saying "yup" standing around the quads with a beer saying "yup" standing around an impalla with a beer saying "yup" standing around Jay's new house with paintbrushes and paint all over me and a beer saying "yup" standing around the streetbikes with a beer saying "yup"..... a proud tradition lives on!
