I never really got into that car scene but I always wanted to! I like anything with a motor.......

I had a few friends back in the day that raced and just never got a chance to check it out. Is it only a summer thing or do you race year round? I would love to scope that scene out!

we mainly only race when its warm, most of us have serious traction problems on the street when its warm, its useless to try in the winter. mine has to be parked when its cold or raining because i have a heavy foot and punching it below 40mph results in serious wheel spin. we hang out in worcester pretty much every weekend though just shootin the ****, usually just chill at our usually 24 hour dunks till 1-2 am, get home about 3-4am lol, the drive sucks, but thats where the majority of the guys live,so thats where we go. the real fun wont begin till all the sand if off the road because the guys dont wanna wreck their cars with the salt (68 firebird, 69maro, 72 chevy pickup, etc), but once the good cars are out, the fastest ones have 500-1100hp and are driven on the street, it makes for fun nights

yep, most of my team lives in wellesley and framingham, so i go out there and meet up with them for dinner or whatever, then we go out to worcester to hang with another team and the rest of the people. its not that bad of a drive out there because its broken up and we screw around and race most of the way there, but the ride back at 2-3 am SUCKS. i find myself dozing quite often. and there are two spots we race, on is where all the ricers hang out and the cops really dont bother stoppin us there, the other is right around the corner and we havent raced there in a couple months. a kid was messing around at the other end of the street, which is a windy, 4 lane wide, residential area and he lost control of his WRX at over 100mph, hit a van, boat and tree. he was killed, the passenger lives somehow. they were drunk and high, not a good combo. since then we have had undercover cops follow us all over the place to make sure we dont race (the guys we hang with "Chicken Racing" is well known in worcester). we were being watched before that, but not that bad, a cop would just go down to our racing spot and see if anything was going on from time to time, now there is one cop in a back parking lot overlooking the road (the end we race on is wooded, no houses, one side street that we block off, pretty much minimal risk), then there is one cop at the other end of the road where the kid crashed sitting in a parking lot and two undercovers at the huge parking lot around the corner overlooking the other spot the ricers race at. the undercovers sit there and watch the ricers race, but once we even head torwards our spot, the cops follow us and we hear the sirens of backup. soo, now that i dragged that out lol, we have been laying off racing lately. there are always smoke shows and doughnuts though.

you should tell all them worchester boys too come out too broketown on one night too race. we have some nice cars comin out this springtime and noone wants too race us around here. would make for good competition.

if we could find some guys willing to race that are worth it, everyone would deff be down for the ride. a couple guys have gone down to check it out and scout it and there was never anyone decent and it was just full of BS that no one wanted a part of

 

now you no me and i no all the fast cars round here. lemme no who wants too run and what there car is running (sandbagging= kick in the face round here, lol) and i will find plenty of other cars too run it and also many people with money too bet on the race. you can make some pretty good money out here if you no some people, and if you no how too drive
