Finally Coastin
Finally Coastin
Last night I went out for a little while and nailed down my coastin. It just happened
. I think the fiddy coastin helped me. I mean, the last time I attempted coasting on my 900, it was a joke. Plus, I've only been on my bike for about 2 hours since the summernationals.
Well, I'm excited and coastin is awesome!!! Anyone got tips?

Is that when you have your boys over for superbowl sunday, and everyone cracks a beer and the host of the party goes "WAIT!, not yet guys..." then goes and grabs coasters for the tables, and says "ok, NOW your coastin"

Yo Bri
Bri, clutch it up from a moderate speed(15-20 mph)and let your front wheel come up slowly as you build speed. When you feel yourself just about to go past your balance point pull in the clutch and "rub" your brake.
Watching your front wheel is the key.As your front wheel comes toward your face you apply gentle brake pressure. As you apply that brake pressure you will see your wheel become stationary and then start to move away from your face.As soon as your wheel starts to move away from you remove rear brake pressure.....and so on and so forth.
