Due to the possibility of rain, the originally scheduled May 3rd show is now postponed until May 24th. This will be the same event, just a few weeks later.We would have performed in the rain but I guess all the other daily events require sunshine. We are very sorry about the delay but we'll be there the 24th!! Hopefully we'll see you there.


Also joining Core 6 will be select riders from Reckless Methods and the Wicked Riders. The street in front of Shark Cycle will be closed from 12-2pm. We will be selecting you "the fans" to judge the event. 3-4 individuals will be hand selected to judge each of the riders performance and pick the overall winner!!!

There will be give-a-ways, prizes, deals on bikes, and all sorts of other kick *** events to make the day worthwhile.
Deathrage (our newest sponsor) will also be joining us.... So if you're in the market for a new pair of gloves, leather jacket, boots, etc then these guys are the people to buy from!!

Core 6 - Freestyle

 

If you're gonna be there, who's going to Long Island?

 

That event is the forth. I don't think there is qualifying the day before since it appears that they only have the track for sunday.

 

Like I said before....

Damien, Teach, and I will be in Conn for a stunt show. Chauncey will be in Long Island. Shannon & Jaymz.... not sure. They might join Chauncey. We'll see.

For right now.... Damien, Teach, Tony, Swank, B, and a few others will be in Connecticut with me on the 3rd. We'll see how things turn out. We might jump on a ferry and hit Long Island for Sunday. Not sure yet.

Ok, here's my story. I am going to the city on Saturday afternoon. I'm going to my boy's wedding party in midtown at noontime. Depending on just how much alcohol I drink, I *may* be there all night, and then going back to LI on Sunday morning. The question now is do I want to drive my car, or the bike since I sorta have to dress nicely (i.e., slacks and a nice shirt)for the party.

So.... unless the CT thing is late afternoon, I can't make it. But, we should still make it a weekend thing though.

Edit: if I wasn't going to that wedding party, there's no way in hell that I'd drive all the way to CT to watch them stunt, then turn around and come back the same day. That's my 3 cents (adjusted for inflation).

 

I MIGHT be at the CT show on saturday (not sure though) but I will not be in LI on sunday I have a party to attend saturday night!!!!

Sure!! The event will take place all day. The road will be shut down from 12-2pm. So, basically all the stunting will take place between those times.

BTW, this is a Core 6 event w/ special guest RM & WR so any posting / advertising should be properly arranged / worded.

Yo Mike,
I'd be cool with sticking around local for friday night, grabbing a few drinks and then heading out with C6/RM/WR on sat morning. We could hang for a bit there and check out the show then grab the ferry and head to NY. If you want to head straight to NY friday that's fine with me as well, I'm sure we could find some kinda entertainment down there for satuarday.

 

I am no longer heading to Long Island on Friday, May 2nd since Core6 will be in Ct on Saturday, May 3rd. I plan to attend Ct on Saturday and Long Island on Sunday. Port Jeff, NY has tons of bars within 5 minutes of my parent’s house so we can go out Saturday night.


Travel Plans:
Leave Lowell Saturday Morning for Stafford, Ct.
Hour and half from Lowell, Ma to Stafford, Ct.
After Core6 show take Bridgeport Ferry to Long Island
Hour and a Half from Stafford, CT to Bridgeport, CT Ferry
Bridgeport Ferry takes you to Port Jeff, Long Island in an hour and half
Stay at my parent’s house, which is 5 minutes from Port Jeff
Go to LI Stunt Show Sunday, May 4th
Parent House to Hamptons (LI Stunt Show) 40 minutes
After Stunt show go back to Boston.
Hamptons, NY to Orient Point Ferry, NY 45 minutes
Orient Point, NY to New London, CT Hour and half on ferry
New London to Lowell 2 hours

Who still plans on staying at my parent’s house Saturday night?
Give me a head count because my Mom loves cooking for my friends. Dinner Saturday night will be lasagna. Lol 

Cam meet us at my mom's house Saturday night or Sunday morning.

 

Ok then... so I will drive my car down to NYC instead of taking the bike. I'll meet up with you guys sometime late Saturday afternoon or evening at Mike's parent's house. Since I'll have the car, I can play designated driver and we can all go out and get shitty. Then I'll go to the show in the Hamptons, and then back to Boston with you.

Mike, should I make a reservation with the ferry for my car?

 

Sounds...um....Reads like a good schedual to me. Maybe we should be flexable on Where we leave from Satuarday morning though. Get a centralized spot for everyone, so we can all head out together. Security in numbers.

 

I assume you will not be taking the ferry to Long Islang since you are driving around through NYC. On the way back from the hampton show you should take the orient point ferry and yes make reservations. I tried to make them for myself this weekend since I am going down for a wedding this Friday but the orient point ferry was already full. I had to make it out of Port Jeff. I never made one for my bike but if a bunch of us go I might give them a number of the amount of bikes going.
