RC 51 Mods

I am looking for input as to what mods to put on an 02 Rc 51. What are your thoughts and where should I look?

Thanks

Jamie

Put a pipe on that thing, I can't hear you over my four banger. I think an undertail would look sick. I don't know how it feels but the seat looks damn uncomfortable, maybe corbin makes something for you.

In order of importance:

1. REPLACE SEAT! Holy fukin' uncomfortable, Batman!
2. Get some pipes. Four bangers shouldn't be louder than you.
3. Undertail

After that, it's up to you. Personally, if I was gonna do anything else to the TL right now, I'd chrome the wheels. But my bank account tells me to do otherwise right now.

The seat I can live with till summer, however I agree with the pipes and undertail. Do I need a power commander IIIr when I put the new pipes on? Every other RC I have seen has a pcIIIr with new pipes.

Thanks for the input!

the IIIr allows you to adjust timing, where the III doesn't...you should check on the RC boards and see if timing adjustments will help...i know they don't do anything for F4i's, so the III is acceptable....oh yea, and if you're planning on running race gas, get the R

No race plans what so ever. I will comb the RC board but it seems most people are remapping.

Not sure about the RC, but if you modify any TL with pipes, you almost certainly have to remap. Basically, you have less backpressure which usually results in a lean condition from the increased air flow. This is why my other TL backfired all the time. The remap takes care of it. Only downside about the PC is that you should really get it dynoed after making adjustments to better fine tune it.
