can't u just pick up a phone off the ground & throw ur sim card in it, even it it was stolen? just as a matter of instance of course. and not get caught? right?

I have 2 i90's 3 i85's 1 i60 and a i1000.
You can't just throw your sim a phone and adtivate it, You still have to call nextel to turn it on.
What you can do and it only works with the lost and found insurance is tell them you lost your phone, But make sure you tell them that you droped it in the ocean fishing or something like that, that way you wont have to fill out a report. Get your new phone on your insurane and wait about 6 months to turn on the phone you claimed.
Any earlyer than that you can turn it on but they will bill you full price for the phone.
I've done it, I've had nextel for about 6 years.
