is this spacer factory? Would there be any downside to removing it other than lowering the rear?

that is factory pete but why would you want to lower your bike , most stunters are actually raising them a little

when i used to drag race alot all the jap car guys would sit around talking **** about how fast their cars were and then when i would spank them all they would all whine because i had a big motor ..lol

lowering the rear IS a downside. sloppier steering, less traction for hweelies and stoppies, higher bp

rally type cars can be made pretty fast, but the money involved is astronomical compared to making something like a camaro go fast
