Doing the wheelies
Re: Doing the wheelies
Please i've had conversations with you, and Chris, who is much younger than us, is more female friendly. Once I moved the conversation over to stunting, you felt completely comfortable. You know, most women can't talk about bikes and stunting for hours.
You are supershy compared to the guys around here. At least you're sincere.

Re: Doing the wheelies
but I'm back because I have a question one of you should know.
My buddy got hit by a car on his bike the other day. Its kinda fucked up but not that bad. My question is will it be a salvage title now because it was crashed or does it have to be totalled to become a salvage?

they give an estimate for the repair
the ins company weighs that against the blue book value of the bike and decides if its worth it to pay for the repair
If they decide its not worth it, they offer him a check for a new bike.
If he takes the check, he has to give them the title and the bike.
SOMETIMES they wont want the bike, and they'll offer to let him buy it back for cheap.
Thats when the salvae title appears.
So basically, tell him to "lose" the title before calling the ins company.
they will still carry out their process and potentially give him a salv title.
then he can sell the bike out of state with the original title, the other states dmv wont know, and they will issue the new owner a new clean title

Re: Doing the wheelies
Hmmmm, it depends on the neighborhood of NYC...I find it to be a melting pot of obnoxious men. So for example, in the area I work in 90% of the population is hispanic or african american. In the last week or so, I was hollared at by the subway sandwich maker, the deli guy, a bunch of guys in a electric blue jetta who slowed down while I walked to the car, oh and lucky me, a guy named "Biggie" wearing versace's, driving a blinged out escalade who caught me in the truck while I was getting gas.

The second pic is 10 feet from my boys beach house to the water. The whole shoreline is gone. Crazy!
