Forum is just a company that I never really trusted for making a good product maybe ****'s changed though cause Burton does own them. Union I don't know **** about to be honest I've never even heard of them so that to me automatically tells me they're junk lol. What adjustment are you looking for in the Targa's?

 

It is park focused but I believe it's still in the "all mountain free style" category iut's a nice soft board with good flex and holds a good edge. It'd be a good board even for a beginner or low level rider because you can advance on it.

 

Awesome we'll wait for more of the mountain to open up so it's worth the trip

the few forums i was reading up on kids were screaming union - almost blindly, sounded like it was the new fad ... i had just read the targa's allow you to change the insert so you can get different flex depending on what you will be riding

 

well when some one starts using insults and name calling it usually means they are upset but maybe i read too much into that too or maybe thats what you consider a ''good discussion''

Ever hear about Flux bindings?

 

Strange I did not know that or I probably forgot but it's probably some minor adjustment that makes a small change in the flex of the binding.

 

The Unions actually look ok if you're gonna get a deal on em I'd say buy them but if you can get a better binding for close to the same price then go with the better binding. It seems like you're gonna probably have the set up for a while so don't skimp out and product just cause you're gonna get a deal.

Oh and the flux bindings don't do anything for me I see them on kids crappy set ups they don't look like the best functioning binding.
