a few days later a guy from north jersey replies. he has one with tail damage, clean title for 2500 if i pick it up that day. I talk to him and make arrangements to pick it up that evening after work.
I leave work around 5, pick up my trailer, and head out to jersey. 7:00 im on the bridge to jersey when my phone rings. Its the seller, telling me to turn around because a local guy just bought it. so of course i curse him out on the phone, what else can i do. I get home an hour and a half later, look at my thread, and theres a post form dj. "I'll give you 2700 cash right now, im local"

a long time ago i posted an add on my local sportbike forum, looking for a beater f4i for under 3 grand
a few days later a guy from north jersey replies. he has one with tail damage, clean title for 2500 if i pick it up that day. I talk to him and make arrangements to pick it up that evening after work.
