heading out to the garage. gonna look into building a platform on my rear seat

 

garage door remote is MIA

 

need:
8" by 5" piece to use as the platform. will probably go with 1/4" Al for that.

12" long bolt to go all the way through the bottom rails of the subframe, this will be the pivot

1-1/4" angle steel. for the platform to rest against when its flipped up

I havent yet devised a way to connect the platform to the pivot. If i use steel for the platform, it'll be easy, but id rather use aluminum.

still at work ..... thought i screwed up ... but i didnt

 

so i went to home depot, bought a hinge, ans a bunch of nuts and bolts. Normally i pocket the nuts and bolts but pay for the big stuff. Not because im cheap, but I cant stand waiting for a casheir to look up skew numbers for 18 different things that she has no idea what they are.

Well today i forgot to pocket the stuff, and i spent over 20 minutes waiting for her to research skew numbers. Then to top t all off, the bill came out to XX.06 and i didnt have a penny. just getting 4 pennys is enough to put me in a bad mood, and i threw them out as i walked out the door. Then i went to the supermarket to buy steaks which put me into a good mood, and after tax it came out to 5.11 The kid went to give me 4 pennys and I yelled at him (like its his fault). I felt bad so I apologized and left.

 

im sure if you look hard enough, you screwed something up

 

OK I pulled some sweet **** out of my butt and salvaged everything .... waiting on dba's to validate testing .... what a way to spend a sunny 70 degree sunday
