you know....i wouldn't be opposed to getting chickens for the eggs...i use eggs so much and they're so expensive...well not really, but it'd be cheaper if we invested in a chicken...or 3. i just don't want it to be my job to take care of them

 

yeah i wondered how loud one or two would be ... but you know I live on a corner so traffic would most likely drown out most noise.

 

yeah i am still researching ... if it's too much work i'll keep buying eggs lol ... i would really like a cow for fresh milk lol ...

well......i know that he would go out there once a day and get about 1-3 eggs from each chicken. coons would always get in his coupe and kill his chickens...but one day he taught that coon a lesson. BANG BANG BANG! he grew the baby chicks in his garage in a homemade incubator thing. they stink. they're not that noisy..but if you get a rooster he will be. that's about all i know. oh....when the sunlight goes down they always went into the coupe by themselves...i always thought that was kinda cool

 

maybe during the winter......not during warmer weather

 

scoot, if you decide to get chickens tell defresco...she'll probably buy you some if you let her have them mailed to your work
