Reason #1-Price. $350 is a great deal but when you add in shipping and $40 on each end it's like $450 and I can get a new one for a few $ more.

Reason #2- It kind of sucks as a defensive gun. It conceals easily, but I have my doubts wheather I could get to it and grap it and grip it correctly 100% of the time. Esp. under the stress of actually needing it. Why carry it if you use it.

Reason #3-I heard the .357 sig sucks as a round. Too much muzzle flash and I hear it is a dieing round. It is also quite a bit more expensive.

I'm going to go with my original plan of buying an S&W j-frame. One of the ultra lights or whatever they call them in a .38. Don't know if I want the light one or the really light one. It will all depend on price.

I have a Dan Wesson .357 magnum......has a great handle on it and with the 4" barrel on it conceals and grabs great.......but the best part, that round will take down just about anything......Oh and I buy my rounds in bulk from cabelas......

I hear ya. Shipping prob wouldnt have been that much. It was $10 for the guy that bought it to have his dealers send me there license and then its only gonna cost me $20 for me to ship it to him.

But I feel ya. Thats why I'm getting rid of i t. i'd like something smaller, little more comfortable.

Smaller? That thing is a bitch to grab and maipulate your hand into the shooting position without regripping. I'd rather get a .38 and a pocket holster to throw in my coat pocket. I normally walk with my hands in my coat pockets anyway.

The main reason I dont want to do it is because the last name the guns were registered in was my buddys and if for some reason the cops got ahold of the gun and found out that it wasnt completly legal it could come back on him and I just cant have that seeing how he hooked me up with such a good deal. Thanks for not harrasing me or calling me a ***** for not doing it though

It's metal jack ***. Aluminum and titanium alloys. I would never use a gun to pistol whip someone. I would either punch them or shoot them and kill them. Why make an assault charge turn into assault with a deadly weapon?

Not meaning handle length but the width. Its kind of wide for my liking.
