the whole idea is that they pivot, so the bike can lean to turn, the sidecar wheel will lean also, but the passenger carriage will always remain horizontal

I don't want it to lean. That sounds dangerous. How do you think it would turn with 3 wheels laid over? I can see that throwing you all over the place.
