big gay marriage debate going on at pirate4x4, as usual. its pretty much everybody against this guy, whos the only one actually from maine
I'm glad they lost for a couple more reasons too...
1.) The gay marriage law was initially passed by the legislature, bypassing the citizens. The citizens thought the .gov was overstepping it bounds and petitioned to have the law overturned. Petition passed, referendum passed, citizens voice was heard.
2.) Marriage, at it's most basic core, is societies ritual joining of a male and a female into a life-long breeding pair with the expectation of children being created to further our species. A homosexual couple can't do that. Try it and see.

there is a little trail into my work parking lot that cuts about 2 miles off my commute. it has a big gate across the trail at the parking lot end that was open for years, until i cleared the rest of the trail enough to use it. the guy who owns the land its on closed the gate and locked it. I blew the lock apart by ramming the gate with my truck. Then he put a chain and padlock on it which i also blew apart by ramming it with my truck. Now hes got a big *** chain and lock on there, which are stronger than the gate itself. when i ram it, the gate distorts (its pretty fucked up right now) but the chain (and gate hinges) wont break.
I use this trail 4 times a day, so it saves me roughly 8 miles of intense traffic lights, so its a pretty big deal to me.
