I had a spare lock in the garage I stole a diode off of. I ****ed up the first one trying to break away the plastic around the ignition contacts to trace the wiring. If I can figure out what kind of diode it is I can set up another switch with that connector.:YEAH

we're suppose to get snow sometime in the near future. it's pretty cold out thi morning ..... 32 degrees, i'm sure the high will only be low 40s, but the wind it blowing which makes it worse

It lets the bike run. Without it the bike will do everything except for the fuel pump turning on and the bike actually running (bike will crank over). I awas VERY happy to find out that the bike won't suddenly cut out if this circuit is broken.

i would like to eliminate the ignition switch all together. my key has been ON for over a month now and that seems to be ok so i figure i will just hard wire it ON all the time
