What if the rear brake goes out? What if the semi at the next interestion doesn't see the light? What if a DC-10 engine falls off and land on you? At least there is a back up 'chute.

Probably because they had to run some nasty cams to get as much power out of it as they did. Big cams=rough idle at low RPM's.

My old f3 would run at 600, which boiled down to about .4 mph with the big sprocket
