kinda, our policy sets the backgrounds to just blue, but we allow office users to change them

 

I have to. We have this stupid logo, and it'll have the ip address and the hostname for netmeetings. Every time I build a conference room pc I have to go through this bs with paint, and then set it for the default user profile. *** its annoying

 

do conference room pc's have a different AD policy? you can put the image in the build and set it in the policy to apply as the background or screensaver ...

 

Sort of. They come off a slightly different image that includes a fuller version of office, and it wont get patches automatically through sms. Other than that they're the same as the users pcs. We have conference rooms come and go alot, and each one has to be done individually.
