2000's built during certain months with the automatic had major probs with the tranny. Something called the "mechanical diode" (oxy-moron) went to ****. It was so bad ford switched about halfway through the production run back to the old style tranny. Check it out on the diesel forums.

So I only got part of my bonus because HR fucked up so I sent the following note:
Dumb HR bitch, I know my boss has contacted you about the error with my 2006 incentive. He said many former PDP's had similar issues. Could you let me know exactly what the issue was and when I can expect it to be corrected?

You were paid out 4 months of the AI bonus eligibility, and you are owed an additional 7 months; it was based on your move to former bosses cost center for 1 month last year and your graduation from the last job position. We apologize for the error, caught it as soon as we saw the issue and Compensation is processing the correction that will be paid out as soon as payroll can run the off-cycle check. Again, sorry for the inconvenience, we’re trying to fix as quickly as possible.
