Notch backs are a couple hundred pounds lighter but don't look anywhere near as good. I would never buy one. I probably wouldn't buy an LX fastback because they don't have the ground effects or the good tail lights.

LXs came in notch back, fast back, and convertible. The GT only came in fast back and convertible. In 1987 you could get the GT with T-Tops. That's what I really want. Or a 1979 Trans Am with T-Tops.

I've always been a big fan of t-tops, I wanted to put them in my last saab!!
