Another thing i thought of. If I buy it from a dealer in NY, I will have to pay 8.3% tax on it. thats another 1200 bucks

if i buy it from a private seller i can lie at the dmv like i usually do

yeah i bought mine at a dealer and ended up having to pay the 1200-1400 (somewhere in there) tax on it.. it sucked!!!

careful though, if you lowball too much they ask questions... and then if for whatever reason you ever claim it (stolen, totaled, etc) they might only want to give you waht you SAID you paid for it... that happened to a friend of mine who lied about what they paid for a GSXR 600... almost got beat for about 4G's!!!
