plugs - $24 thats ok
get home, pop the hood, i cant even see 1 of the plugs. its an inline 6 so i figured theyd be easy to get to like the oil filter. nope, intake manifold has to come off to change any of the plugs, and the header has to be unbolted to get to 2 of them.
ok take it to the shop, rather than having it sit in my driveway in pieces for 6 weeks. Finished my missions at midnight, get home, roll up my blunt, throw my mtn bike in the back of the jeep and head for the shop.
drop it off at 1 am, smoke on a nice relaxing bicycle ride through 1 am traffic. Why is there traffic at 1 am? I dont know.
8 am, phone rings, its the mechanic. Tells me what he thinks is wrong, which is exactly what i was thinking (good) and then the bad news - im looking at 4+ hours labor, and hes estimating 6-700 for the whole job

yeah do it yourself... take a day (today is nice) and rip into that thing... someone that works on bikes should be able to handle that... then again... i could be wrong...
I couldnt even change the oil on my truck cause the numbnut that changed it last impacted the drain bolt on! Lol need to get that taken care of...

you know, if someone told me that 8 up gearing would increase the reading on my gauages 75% above what it actually is then i would've rode a lot faster...LOL.

6-700 to change the plugs? There's gotta be a better way.
