ok its picture time :YEAH

first up: the stock bracket

holes are 89mm apart. the rear hole is threaded 10x1.25 the front hole is unthreaded 12mm, actually it might even be 11mm, i have to check on that. anyway, its unthreaded, and very strong looking.

Went with a left side caliper to keep it close to the stock location
where it sits there, is 1mm of clearance between the edge of the rotor, and the top of the caliper's channel. The top of the pad is almost perfectly aligned with the rotor surface. Unfortunately the caliper hits the inside of the wheel in this position

shown here, the bottom of the pad is aligned with the rotor surface. the top of the pads will have to be trimmed with a rasp or something

which reminds me, my home pc is due for an upgrade. Its 4 years old now. Usually I upgrade my work pc, and take the old one home. But I really like my work pc and theres nothign better available right now

I need a strictly editing system at home ... i have a p4 socket775 chip new in box i could use ... but i know i would end up spending another grand and i would rather spend money on bikes not computers at this point
