Get a half ton with the larger V8 gas motor. You'll get 14-15 in the city, 17-18 hwy, and have plenty of power. The Chevy/GMC's seem to get the best mileage. I've heard of 20 mpg with the 5.3L. Not to mention you'll pay 5-10K less initially. Also try to stay with 3.73 or lower (numerically) gears. It's stamped on a tag on the rear pumpkin.

 

how much do you still owe on school loans? by only taking 1-2 classes per semester, over 10 years, Ive had mine paid off for years

 

Just paid $500 off on the DRZ as well. Still have some $ for a parts shopping spree. Bonuses are sweet. I need to get a job where they are a regular thing. Now I need to start paying ahead on the ******* student loans.

 

Less than borne. School was expensive, but at the same time I make a decent wage for a 26 year old.

ugh u guys are making me feel really sick with the talk of studen loans. Even though i don't have a 100k...i none the less have much more than 10k.

 

maybe 1% of what I learned in school is applicable in real life. Im still not convinced that the degree was worth my time and money.
