its on the network, i can get to it, but i cant do anything on it. when i right click anything, it times out before anything happens (60 sec i think)

DLP's will not risk burn in on the screen or failure like a plasma will, lcd's tend to have pixel burnout - not dlp's ...

now if you are looking strictly at lcd or plasma definitely lcd like niner said
