yep ... a little less in the downtown areas of the big cities though ... i get pissed at someone if i hold a door and they dont say thanks because thats what im use too

 

um no, u never directly look into someone's eyes/face when you're around the east coast. if u do, it means:

a) u want to fight
b) u have money for a pan handler
c) ur asking for it.

I always look down. This also prevents me from tripping on potholes and cracks in the streets and sidewalks.

I always hold the door, but if the don't say thank u immediately, i let go of the door purposely and it shuts on their faces. Either that, or I say, "YOU'RE WELCOME". It's usually a dumb bitch.

 

I say hi and wave to anyone that walks/jogs by my house if i am within reasonable distance

 

yesterday at the car wash i lefted a car battery into a boat this old lady and her husband were washing say the lady try to lift it so i offered and did it for her didn't even get a ******* thank you that actually pissed me off

the homeless people on the streets everywhere beggin for money!!!
I get begged at least once a day. In hs, one of my gf's had her face slashed open by a homeless nut she failed to give change too.
