picked up my rims, tires, adjustable track bar, and front leveling kit (shocks didn't come in) this morning ... tires are freaking huge

If he took them home they are mounted and ballanced.

 

Probably. They should fit in with the rest of the family.

 

Makes sense except why would he bring them home if the shop is doing the install?

 

i was gonna but i had to throw them in the garage and get to work

 

the pro-copms because they were cheaper - but they dont have as much sidewall stuff as i wanted on a tire

because its a different buddy that got me the parts than the buddy that works at the shop .... i might not have been clear about that before lol ...
i might try to do the lift myself - my other buddies shop wants too much to install a lift, mount & balance tires & do an alignment

 

Just install it yourself. It won't be too bad.

 

For when you go rock crawling and need beefy sidewall lugs.....;

Just need a good floor jack, some jack stands lots of wd40 and an impact.

 

1/2" drive breaker bar with a 4 foot section of steel pipe would be a good idea as well. I've got a 3/4" drive set that I used when doing suspension ****. That stuff's beefy.
