Re: What kind of bike do you ride? I own a 1998 Buell S1W Black Lightning with a 1250 Axtell kit and Stage 3 parts. Right now the Buell is still getting some new parts, .585" Red Shift cams, CP/Hurricane 20 degree pistons, NRHS XL1200R Stage 3 dual plug heads, a Mikuni HSR45, etc... It's also getting a dual disc brake conversion with a set of very rare Performance Machine/Buell Racing calipers, Braking USA wave rotors and new Marchesini wheels. I also have a PM 4-piston rear caliper and a rear wave for out back. It will be pretty cool for a v-twin Harley based bike. My other ride is a 2004 KTM 625 SMC Supermoto. The Supermoto has been derestricted and is getting a new Akrapovic exhaust soon. I also have a 2003 Yamaha Zuma scooter 'pit bike'.

hey! I'm one of the 8 guys riding a Triumph! I ride a '98 955cc Daytona, T595.
It's not as fast as a lot of bikes, but it's stable as hell. I don't feel any wiggle at any speed. I've thought about getting a GSX1000, but right now I'm totally happy with what I've got.

here's the new one I have had less than a year and it has 10,500 miles with no problems ( and if you look at my avitar you know I beat the crap out of it)

I wish I could ride like that, but I'm not ready to sacrifice my perfect plastics, and I can't afford another bike right now...
So, how did you learn? A cheap dirtbike? Or did you just hop on a 600lb, clean bike, and wreck the hell out of it?
