as if things were not bad enough for me right now, this **** happens today, I was driving along doing just fine, East bound I94 , going aprox 65mph in the fast lane ( construction zone) . It starts to downpour all of a sudden, but nothing major.....THEN I see it just ahead of me 50 yards a white F250 Diseal spinning, across all lanes of traffic.( Yes 2 full 360 degree rotations).
Vechicals are swerving everywhere trying to avoid hitting this JERK, I see him and tap my brakes..... thinking ok yes Im going to miss him , I can make it, turn onto the shoulder and just barley miss hitting or getting hit by the F250.
I think AWESOME I made it ...... just as I start to accelerate back onto the road
WHAM something very large hits me spins my focus 360 degrees, blowes out all of the back windows, and puts me into 6 inches of mud and water at the bottom of the ditch...... WTF just happend MY F ING Bad luck continues!!!!!!!

 

this is what hit me

 

so my car is most likely totalled , I have no vechecial now, and since MI is a no fault state I have a $500 deductable, and I have to pay for my own rental car, unless I take the dude to court. so I am stranded at home with no car and PISSED off. BTW the accident also caused me to miss work today that's another
$200 lose.

 

Sorry to hear...Talk to your insurance company. Hope you had a police report made by an officer. If the truck is issued a ticket and you aren't, using the police report you can use it to file a "mini-tort" against his insurance company. This basically sues his insurance company for your deductible. This is what I did when I got into an accident and it worked just fine, insurance rates also never went up. One lesson I did learn to was to pay a couple extra in insurance to have them supply the rental car free of charge.

yes I got the police report, and I am going to file the mini tort, sucks that I didnt take the free rental car coverage.

 

That sucks man. Sorry to hear about it. Also, there is an additional insurance add on called Broad Form which waves your deductible when you're not at fault. Depending on how much you owe on the car versus it's value, that may not even be a total. Back in the day when I worked in a body shop, we spliced in new quarter panels and roofs all the time. Time will tell. Sorry 'bout your bad luck man, but very glad to hear you're not hurt!

 

thanks guys.... well as if this was not bad enough, my wife just called to inform me that she lost her job today! **** happens, and it rolls down hill and picks up speed! so we are short 1 vechical and about $40k of annual income.
THIS SH*T really, really sucks....... if you guys thought that I worked alot before well I may have to get a second job now to make ends meet.
Being an adult sucks, tooo much work and responceabilty(sp?)
