My name is Eric Carroll. I work for X-Factor Video Productions. In 1995 X-Factor produced the sportbike industries most notable Street X-treme video, "Las Vegas Extremes". To date X-Factor Productions has released the highest quality videos/DVDs in the street bike market with additional titles such as "Urban Assault" parts 1&2, "Moving Violation", "Full Leather Jacket", "All Twisted & Pucked Up" and "XGB" a compilation of our greatest bits. It's time to move into the wild world of Fiddies! Currently our titles are distributed internationally as well as in large mainstream stores like Best Buy. Production of this video has already started with support from a major sponsor, and several other secondary sponsors.
Here is how I hope you can help. With this next film, we are trying to reach the core backyard riders from all over the country. We want to get as many unknown riders involved as possible. It would be very helpful if you could get the word out to all the michigan 50 mafia riders about this production. We would like riders to send in tapes of themselves in action. Kinda like a video resume'. We will look over everyone's tapes and select many riders from all over the country to go out and film them in their own domain. Some of your own footage may even be used in the video. We are looking for big jumps, crashes, funny clowning around stuff, basically anything you would want to see in the next video. We can set it up as a Michigan 50 Mafia segment or just individual riders, depending on what kind of response I get from you guys. First of all, IF we decide to use any footage sent to us it's all about exposure. We have plenty of contributors working with us, some worthy of a complete segment and being fairly compensated, and a lot of people who have small clips looking to be in a high quality X-Factor production. Everyone will get something. Question is, which group do YOU fall into???

I'm normally pretty nice, but you are being a tool. You came into our site asking for footage. Someone wanted to know what he would get for it. Everyone said nothing other than being in a video. You came back with a high and mighty attitude and try to call us out for telling it how it is.

 

Bottom line is if you have any footage and want to be in a video then send it too him. Keep in mind the best riders in the world hardly get paid anything for being in a video so we should feel privileged he is asking us. I know for a fact that Thew from 1096 has been in a lot of videos before and he is just now starting to get paid.

 

Didnt mean to come across high and mighty. People just started sayin stuff without reason. Everyone will get $$, DVD's, and exposure. If you are interested, great. If not, thats fine. I was just offer you the chance to get your name out there.

 

MFM the think is that most of us here, are here for fun, not to try and make $ or become famous..... there is not very much money in the stunting video segment ( it cost too much to produce something really good, and the rate of return isn't very high) most of us here are adults with jobs and familes, his little offer of exposure, dosent mean sh*t to us. Exposure dose not pay bills.Few if any of us expect/are trying to become famous for fiddy stunting.
It sees to me that the voice of the MFM( membership) has spoken....

I would have settled for A DVD and exposure, but a few $ sounds good too. I guess you can misunderstand written things very easily.

 

At least with America's Funniest Home Videos I have a crack at 10 g's.

I don't leave the house unless I am getting paid,wise up boys,there is money to be made.

My first post was meant to be tongue in cheek but since I posted that I have thought a lot about this. Not that many stunters are able to make a living doing this. Maybe it is time for that to change. I,like Free, am not a 15 y/o kid that just wants to be in a video. I don't even care to be in a video. I make a living doing a different career and if I make a few riding buddies through here,great.
