Indoor Riding

Guys we need to find a place to ride indoors. Does anyone know anybody that would let us use a warehouse, shop, pollbarn, SOMETHING !! I see the indoor races @ Prosource on Mondays but no one can make it there in time from this side of the state especially in this weather. We need to plan something indoors on the weekend.

it's not huge but i park 4 delivery trucks indoors and have room for two more so its ok to play on... if it warms up some my property management company keeps stuff pretty cleared out so we have a huge industrial complex to play in. I'll post some pics tomorrow to show with the trucks in and out. The 7th will work too... usually not doing to much on weekends til in the evening. If anything changes I'll let ya know. You better make my Nextel chirp if it is going down. I have been doing some heavy duty partying lately so I have been out of the loop.

If the partying continues this weekend I won't be able to make it. Much better things to ride than the XR,if ya catch ma drift?

Nate, it really isn't that big of a place but it was perfect for practicing 1st gear stuff. I worked on my no handers, circles and burnouts. Perfect for that. Plus if the weather is decent there is a load of outdoor riding area too.

We had five bikes riding inside and there wasn't many problems with getting in each others way. If more guys show up we will just have to ride in shifts.

Keep working on larger places though. Every warehouse company I checked with won't let you ride inside and won't let you rent for a weekend. They want you to sign a lease.

A buddy of mine is working on a place that he says its atleast the size of a football field. It's used for cold storage but it will be inside and dry. I will let you guys know the details as soon as I here them.

Re: Indoor Riding

sorry guys... been out of wack... no prob bike... glad ya had fun... watchin the vid from then now. I think if i can get the hangin racks cut down from the ceiling and get the truck thats in the far corner to my house we could open it up a bit more. calling for authorization to buy the two of them tomorrow so hopefully. if i we do it this weekend i'll hit ya up. didnt get the GF's camera so didn't get to take any snaps with the trucks out.... think its a 100' x 150' and endless parking lot. building manager keeps property (driveways) pretty clear of snow but the ice is another story... helps keep the racing honest. I'll hopefully get some of the video uploaded soon. trying to get the website up and i'll post it then. c ya

If you need a spot to host the video let me know. I can only host certain types of files, but if it is the correct type (jpg gif png mpg mpeg WMV avi mp3) I have unlimited space.

Let me know.

Re: Indoor Riding

so far everything looks good. studded tires are ok if they wanna play in the parking lot then they can come in and warm up...parking lot is glare ice right now. measured my building and I was way off... its, 80 x 50 still its heated and free and lots of room outside to mess around on. me and bike and a few other were out there. hit me a PM on thursday and let me know what direction your coming in from or bike may even know and he knows where were at now too. i'll know for sure whats going on. c ya

Re: Indoor Riding

He is coming from Muskegon. Pretty simple to get to from the freeway.

If the heat wave keeps up we will have some asphalt to ride on soon.
