Cheap 50's on Ebay. What have you heard?

I have been hearing a lot about these 50's over in Japan. Supposedly, they are knock offs but you cant tell. Is it worth it to buy one and save a couple bucks? Just looking to save a little !!!!

WELL, FROM EXPERIENCE, SOME LOCAL GUYS HERE HAVE BOUGHT THEM. AS FAR AS THE EYE CAN SEE, YOU WOULDNT BE ABLE TO TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A XR50 AND A CHINESE KNOCKOFF....BUT WHEN U RIDE IT, YOU WILL.

MOST OF THESE MODELS COME WITH A 70CC MOTOR. AND THEY SMOKE THE REGULAR 50CC(DUH). THE ONLY THING IS, I DONT KNOW HOW LONG THEY WILL LAST. THE OTHER THING IS THAT THE GEARS ARE DIFFERENT. THEY HAVE 4 GEARS INSTEAD OF 3, AND YOU SHIFT DOWN INSTEAD OF DOWN LIKE THE XR50. YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO REVERSE THAT, BUT I DONT KNOW HOW TO DO IT. THE GUY THAT HAD IT, ALSO RAND HIS **** INTO A CURB, AND BENT UP THE RIM. NOW, I DONT KNOW HOW HARD AND FAST HE HIT THE RIM, BUT I HAVE BEATEN ON MY STOCK FIDDY, AND HAD NO PROBLEMS.

SO WHEN IT COMES DOWN TO IT.........YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU GET.....I WAS INTRESTED FOR A WHILE, AND NOW RECONSIDERING IT. UNLESS YOU CAN FIND ONE FOR ABOUT $250-300, I WOULDNT SPEND THE MONEY ON IT. LIKE MOST GUYS ON HERE WILL TELL YOU....FOR $600 YOU CAN FIND A DECENT FIDDY, AND THEY ARE WORTH THE MONEY.........GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR DECISION.

Better Frame than HONDA, the rear SubFrame is closed off, much better an stiffer design

Over all Opinion: GARBAGE

I have both the Extreme 107 and the xr50!

Now unless you've owned both you really just don't know. I have repeatedly beat the **** outta the 107 as well as the xr and I have broke more **** on the xr than the Extreme. Possibly do to stunting it a bit more and being more stupid with it than the Extreme. Dollar for dollar the Extreme crushes the xr50 new price to new price. Way more stuff for the dollar without a doubt. Yes there are things that need to be modified to the Extreme 107 (defintely needed a new carb spacer ,air filter and needed to be rejetted badly but other than that the focking thing does liek 55-60 mph versus 30mph on the xr50. You make the call..I DID!!!

Why don't you take those bad boys out to k2k and race those things. I will tell the guys to take it easy on you for the first couple of races. I am sure chilly won't stuff you if I tell him not to

Don't forget about the flux capacitor, new valve stem covers and zip ties we added for the endurance race!! Much better. And don't forget about the summer air we imported from Australia so he could take the winter air out of his tires :YEAH
