so on march 1st 2009 everyone knows i put on my first comp....... i have llearned alot on what to do since than and im here to get feedback from riders for another florida comp! let me hear ur thoughts and outlooks o the idea! this time there will actually be sponsors and its not going to be all out of pocket, so it should turn out alot better!

 

get your sponsors to put up the prize money so if there is a low turnout at the gate the riders will still get paid ..

 

oh ya im not makin the gearfest mistake!! lol

 

there was just another one in tennessee , murdoc the same guy that does king of the south put it on and there wasnt enough spectators to cover the prize money so every one got told to go home some people drove a long way and paid for gas and hotels just to be told to go home

 

well than it looks like we gotta do it in a very well populated area this time!

 

i know the smokey bones on 436 in cassleberry/winter park used to do bike nights and they had a big turnout everytime, thats super close to everything orlando.

 

I think you should do it and i might be intrested int helping or going half's or something?? I would need to sit down and figure **** out but i think u should give it a go!!!!

 

find a good spot, that port charlotte track sucks.

another thing i would say to do cream to make sure this event goes smooth is dont even plan on competeing , instead make sure **** is running according to plan and that the riders/judges/employees are happy. dont know if you competed in your last comp but you know what im sayin.....

Exposier!!! Get out to bike nights and throw down some quick demos and get a some advertizing on the radio. You would be suprised who would show up and watch just by seeing a 5 min demo at a bike night.

 

oh yea i already got all that planned out! im gonna use sponsors to pay for advertising
