Edmonton Wheelie Academy (EWA) presents

The Edmonton Wheelie Academy is hosting it's first annual stunt competition in Canada in the summer of 2009 at Castrol Raceway in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. To help generate awareness and turnout we're giving away a 2009 CBR 600RR and $5,000 to the Individual Freestyle winner and event payouts will total more than $50,000.We're hoping this Canadian venue will eventually become part of the national qualifing series leading to the series final in Florida which will perhaps one day lead to a worldwide tournament. Full event details will be posted at www.edmontonwheelieacademy.ca

the site looks good, very professional i love seeing stunting made to look like an actual legit entity.....with that being said i think your team "life in balance" needs to update their riding....the guy on the red bike isn't bad but it looks a bit like 2006. otherwise nice site and idea...good luck.

haha, so true. We plan on stepping it up this year for sure.

Unfortunately I started stunting in the end of 2006, always 2 steps behind. But with some hard work I hope to change that. lol.

The alberta scene is just.. JUST starting to take off. There are very few riders from edmonton.. what you see there is basically it. The Off Axis stunt team from calgary represent canada quite well. I like to think of them as the Canadian hot sauce.

I'm pretty excited about this stuntfest, however, I honestly don't know too much about it... so maybe Pam and Kurt from the ewa can fill us in?

You want to count your years of dirt bike stunting into that number of years you've been at it Kliewer? lol.

You are the Ron Jeremy of stunting with all those lines... I will find out where you are plagiarizing all these quotes, because I bet you didn't come up with them on your own. lol.

We're waiting on confirmation from Castrol Raceway. We will have a confirmed date midway through our season. We're trying to plan our national event around the American dates to allow everyone the opportunity to compete in Canada. Keep checking the EWA website for details.
