Multiplex Japan Event May 27th and 28th
Multiplex Japan Event May 27th and 28th
Ok here it is offcial announcement of the event. This by no means will be the last "Tokyo Invitational Competition" this is a door opening event to truely take this global.
I must thank Aaron from SSB, Thomas Evans, Jason Britton and all the supporting companies and media.
This event is happening due to the efforts in the past of Jason Britton, Nick Brocha, and Ernie Vigil. Over the last year these guys have come to Japan pretty much for free and at thier own expense to introduce this sport to the place that makes the bikes we all know and love.
So here is the run down as chosen by the Multiplex Proprieters ( numerous people were considered and reviewed) maybe future events will be open to all interested. Additionally even the riders them selves have helped procure funding for different aspects of this event. Due to it's location it has proven difficult to fund and arrange logistics for it...but we pulled it off.
With out further delay (in no particular order).......
1) Nick Brocha
2) Eric Hoenshell
3) Joe Dryden
4) Teach McNeil
5) Darius Khashabi
6) Ernie Vigil
Emcee'd by Thomas Evans
Judging will be:
Senior Editor Mr. Bike Magazine, Ginjiro Yamaguchi
Australian Magazine Editor and fellow stunter, Mark Boxer
Stunt Rider we all know, Jason Britton
20 year veteran Honda Corporation test rider, Yoshihiro Ichimoto
and Japanese national Drag Bike Champion, Masa Yokota
And a huge thanks to my partner, Akira for sacrificing alot of his own money and tons of hours of coordination and support.
