There will be some prize money, but nothing to write home to momma about. If nothing else, you have to admit you got the coolest trophies ever at my event bro!

Teach,
What's up bro? Nice to see you checking in on the Psychofest thread bro! I appreciate the support over the years and I know guys like you have to make decisions on the best events to be at every weekend during the summer. No hard feelings for sure for you not showing last year. If you can make it this year, great, would love to have you!

Track days...although I LOVE to tear up the corners and drag the knees, I simply cannot afford to do it. I am really about the only one on the team that really enjoys that, and have many times considered quitting the stunt riding thing to race. (I think most people who have seen me get around a track would agree I am much better at that than I am at stunt riding. HAHAHA!!!) BUT, it is just too much of a money pit for me to get into at this point in my life. Don't get me wrong, stunt riding is not cheap, but I have been able to get my team and I paid to ride doing this stunt thing more often than not. Not likely to make any money racing I am sure you understand. The track days I mentioned to John are at Beaver (psychofest track) and they are private sessions my team and I use to get ready for show season that kicks off for us usually full swing in May. I invited John and a couple of his guys because I trust them and know they will be respectful of the track and of my guys trying to get ready for the season without having to worry about high speed fly bys and people trying to prove something to us which always seemed to happen when we opened the track days up to the general riding public in the past. If you have any interest however, I will pm you the dates and times we have the track all to ourselves. Always happy to open the door to a professional like you bro! You could come stay with us too so you do not have hotel expense.

Last but not least...and I say this with this in mind

Psychofest!!! I tried to get Psychofest at a bigger track from day one!!!! My original idea for Psychofest 3 years ago was to host it at Atco Dragway in NJ where my team had done some events for them. The track is a little rough, but they had a HUGE, perfectly flat parking lot that the technical stuff could have been done in. Awesome place to hold it. Not too far from NY. Not too far from Philly. Should have been a winner, but the owners flat out ignored my requests and would not even return my phone calls. Then I thought Englishtown, and even knew the grandson of the owners, but it would have been a conflict with their wheelie comp they are so well known for. This year we had the ball rolling a little with a big track near Pittsburgh. I am not 100% sure what happened there, but what it seemed like to me was the owners wanted me to come give them three years of my effort, research, rider connections, etc and just hand it to them and let them run with it. I would rather not do the event at all than give all my effort to some greedy track owner who wants to make a fast buck off me or the riding industry. I maybe reading a little deep into it, but that is just how I feel. I knew hosting it at Beaver was going to be an issue! I knew I was going to have trouble getting the average joe rider and the average spectator wanting to see some crazy motorcycle action in the stands. Beaver is a nitch market and the owner has learned to make it successful with the public he has to work with. He truly believes I can make Psychofest work too, but his vision for the event is obviously not mine. I respect and appreciate the mans willingness to work with me, and am glad I can at least do some sort of event, although this year I really had to tone the expense and hype back. It should still be a fun event, but I understand I will not get the big name riders to come. That is ok, and I accept that. I just hope the stunt public understands I did everything I could to help the sport and run a solid, professional event with fair prize monies the last two years! We did all the events and paid every penny of the prize monies promised, but both years I lost my shirt big time and I cannot do it again. Stuntwars crippled the chances of me hosting a nationally recognized event...it may have crippled everyones chances as it has now set the bar far out of my reach financially. I have nothing but respect for Colbert who has been a very good friend to me for no reason other than his desire to see the sport grow, and if anyone in this industry deserves to be called the host of the biggest and best street stunt event in the US, it should be him. The prize monies, media attention he pulls, and the riders he is able to draw from all over the country and Canada, shows just how strong his event has become. I cannot compete and will not try, but it is my hope to always host a fun event in the northeast that riders will look forward to.

Thanks again Teach for all the support and for being a leader in this sport, trying to push it to the level it really needs to be at! I have nothing but respect for you my friend!
