Daytona Dates???

Bikeweek ends on the 13th of March 2005.
The Daytona 200 race is on the 12th.

Why is everyone planning events for the previous week?
Which week is better to attend?

Bike Week is always the week leading up to the AMA Superbike Race which will be on the Sat the 12th, so basically Bike Week is from Fri March 4th to Sunday March 13th(or the first full week in March, always).
