Re: I heard that the pay outs for cycle Palooza are cut in 1/2

huh??

So we went to Cyclepalooza 2004... Good Times Good Times..... Let me just say that the promoters should next time stay on time with what is printed on the flyers... from a spectators point of view, there was too much dead time between events and NO ORGANIZATION WHATSOEVER...

With that being said, here are some pics!

These here are vid caps so the quality is so-so...

And now.................. the real reason we went to Cyclepalooza 2004...........

Its definetly always fun to ride and chill with everyone, at the end of the day thats really the only reason why I still go to these things. But if you are a promoter how are you gonna admit to my face that you KNEW THE PAYOUTS WERE CUT OVER A WEEK AGO, but chose not to tell the riders until the night before because you knew that none would show up if you had been honest with them from the beginning. Completly unorganized, tons of down time, and confusion all weekend. Some shady dealin! I am just about ready to quit on competitions for good. There is never a set standard for judging, so you never know what anybody is looking for. The riders are never happy with these side show competitions. I don't know why we bother to show up. I guess it all comes back to the begining of this post........its a good excuse to ride with all my friends!

Thats the only reason I go. But yea, it was definetley ran very poorly. Whats up with having a show that runs like 15 hours straight and having 2 quick competitions throughout the entire day? And of course you gotta love them admitting that they knew weeks ahead of time that the payouts were cut yet decided not to tell anyone
