First off, we want to thank all of you that came to Cyclepalooza. The event was a lot of fun for everyone and what you guys brought to the show was huge. This was out first show and as expected there where bumps in the road. Lessons where learned, notes where taken and we are moving into the preparation for the next evolution as I type this.
To run an event of this size, the smaller events need to be delegated to other individuals, Every other venue ran as expected except the stunt aspect of the show. And that is a loose statement because we had no idea of many of these issues until now. I had a small amount of time sunday to actually talk to some of the teams and get some feedback and it was over all positive.
Now down the to the questions at hand.
Pay Outs.
This is hard for me because a certain individual took it upon themselves to promise more then we ( the promoters) offered in the beginning. I know the pain of travel expenses, I skateboarded pro for years and up till the sponsors paid for travel I lived off my winnings and yes its hard.
I was given a list early on sunday of what the exact pay outs for the events. The moneys were pulled out, Then after the awards I was told it wasn't enough. Mistake made, lessoned learned. We did not have to cash on hand, hence the checks where mentioned. Scott, John and I didn't feel right about that so someone was sent to get it and the pay outs where made by me as soon as I received it.
Trophies
We where given a list of what to buy, If you didn't receive a trophy, it wasn't on that list. I was told some did not get a one, I'm looking into what they are and they will be made and mailed.

I believe there was one on friday that gixxie held. But the judges didnt make it there until friday night late. And not all the riders made it friday. Some came in sat morning. The reason the judges kept leaving is because no one knew what was going on. We were getting frustrated and it was me who had them call the judges to the track. I didnt get any info on the judging until the day before the event.

Sorry but this wasnt true. I wouldn't of let that happen. The judges handed Woods the wrong money clip...Then realized it was more, they took it back and that is when we realized that someone in the office end counted wrong and what looked to be chicken scratch was actually money no collected on the paper explaining the payouts. Patrick and I took it to Scott & Steve explained, had a quick meeting with the office department and she admitted she thought it was just someone adding #'s and didnt realize that that was actually part of the payouts.
HUH, if you can understand that. But he got his money, and made out really good. No biggy, we fixed it, too bad ppl that wasnt even there are making it out to be so bad.About Me:

actually the money was givin to us by Jacob i belive his name was he was the one doing the money clips he is the one that made the math mistake not the judges. The clip with sickest trick was giving to me from him and handed to woods so not the Judges fault.
