as cold as it is outside now, Todd Gross assures me its going to be much warmer later this week with just enough rain on wednesday and thursday to melt the snow.

I'm definitely up for it. I'll be riding mountain bikes at the Lowell Dracut state forest betweeb 8am and 10am tomorrow and am definitely up for a blast anytimne after that.

I have one street legal fiddy (reg'd as a moped) and another fiddy I just installed an 88 kit on yesterday (no street sticker). I don't know any good spots around Lowell but definitely want to ride - I'll drive anywhere to braaaaap - any suggestions on a good spot to meet, preferably where the cops won;t give grief?

We ride 50's in the state forest too. Ok my registration expires on the 24th(tommorrow) i think, does that mean it expires at the end of that day?

 

cool. I normally ride my MTB from the parking lot by the gate on Trotting Park Rd, off Varnum Ave. Trotting park rd runs through the state forest but is gated at both ends.... it's important to get to it from the Varnum Ave side (or you're at the wrong spot).

No offroad vehicles are allowed in the Park and I've seen ATV / quad riders sitting on the side of the road along their beside cop cars - IN CUFFS!

Lucky I ride a moped, and not a motorbike.

need to be discreet and not ride motorcycles in the forest, but this dead end road makes a good meeting spot.

 

I think all the meeting will go down about high noon.Where is not figured out yet. I've never seen a cop in the forest. We don't really go in at big places though we get on near proberts house and come out to a trail that goes to redrider954s backyard.
