I broke it open a LOOONG time ago, and i never switched the front sprocket off 2.

so i took the shifter completely off, and set the derailor so that it stays in 2 up front

haha, thats kinda like my other bike..i made it so it stayed in 1st in the front cuz i didnt have a front derailleur cable, lol

Looks cool! I don't get why you'd take the shifter off though. Even if you don't use it, it's still fun to fly down the road using it every now and then isn't it?
