drifters do not LOSE traction of the car in a drift, they r CONTROLLING the drift the whole time..the whole POINT of drifting is how far u go and how close to the wall(without hitting it) u can get....driftin aint about the money or how fast u go..its about style!

and in formula racing or any racing its about gettin 1st place not bein the fastest you can run a slower time than lap leader yet still win the race .. its about the drivers and their actions that result in good racing
