flippin at low speed sucks for me to cause I can never seem to jump over the handle bars like my friend who used to ride did.

Why wont u put together a video of u doin tricks on the bike..
Some of those clips looked cool.When u were jumping on one spot on the pegs..

beren here on the forums got'em down pretty fast. just get used to using the rear brakes. Also, a mountain bike would make things easier for learning.
